Lead Toto the alien through the pavilion and complete the loop of circularity together. In 2015, the global economy was 9.1% circular. Today, ten years on, it’s only 6.9%. Despite all the talk about sustainability, we still seem to be moving in the wrong direction. If we want smart and sustainable cities, we need to begin with simple, consistent actions—even regarding how we discuss and present these topics. Every exhibition, conference, or presentation tests how seriously we mean what we say. The Czech Pavilion is a small but honest attempt to walk that talk. It may look ordinary, yet every detail—circular flooring and walls, furniture from repurposed materials, zero-waste catering, and shared logistics—carries a quiet question: If we cannot make a single exhibition sustainable, how can we expect our cities to be? We’re still far from perfect, but we invite you to learn from our practice and challenge us next year.
